GRAMMY-nominated house music duo SIDEPIECE will headline The Closing Party at Windward Plaza on Sunday, July 12, bringing one of the biggest open-air house music events of the summer to Venice Beach as Los Angeles wraps up its role as a host city for the international football tournament.
Running from the afternoon into the evening, the waterfront celebration features a stacked lineup of house music talent led by SIDEPIECE, alongside performances from Ship Wrek, Martin Ikin, and ESSEL.
The bill also showcases a series of back-to-back sets from rising artists and local favorites, including Redtape b2b Sabrosura Boyz, Felipe Silva b2b Nam Goody, RCKSLVR b2b Tempo Locco, and Matty Mo’on. The event is hosted by Venice Afters Club and Utopia.
Located in the heart of Venice Beach, Windward Plaza sits just steps from the area’s iconic skatepark, basketball courts, and world-famous boardwalk. For one day, the beachfront destination will transform into a massive open-air dancefloor, pairing house music with ocean views in one of Southern California’s most recognizable settings.
Doors open at 3:00 p.m., with support acts performing throughout the afternoon before the headlining performances begin at 6:00 p.m. and continue through the evening.
The Closing Party is produced by Venice Beach FWC as part of a month-long series of open-air community events taking place throughout Venice Beach this July, bringing together music, culture, and celebration as Los Angeles concludes its summer of international football festivities.
