Shabang Music & Arts Festival returns to San Luis Obispo’s Central Coast on May 2–3, 2026, marking its 12th edition with its most ambitious installment to date. Set against the rolling hills of Dairy Creek Golf Course, the beloved boutique festival will once again transform the venue into a vibrant weekend destination, complete with an expanded lineup, enhanced stage production, immersive art, wellness programming, and curated local food and beverage offerings.

Leading the 2026 lineup is Chris Lake, the GRAMMY-nominated house music powerhouse, joined by Polo & Pan, whose genre-blurring, transportive live performances bring a colorful energy to the Central Coast. They are joined by The Backseat Lovers, Magdalena Bay, INJI, TOPS, and Natalie Bergman, alongside a special guest act—forming one of the festival’s most dynamic and stylistically diverse headliner rosters yet.

Continuing its reputation as a launchpad for emerging talent, Shabang Music & Arts Festival highlights a new wave of rising artists across genres. Indie additions include Annie DiRusso, Frances Whitney, The Thing, Chezile, Fcukers, and Mexican Slum Rats. On the electronic side, the bill features Jackie Hollander, DJ Mandy, Fallon, Broken Hill, Dillon Nathaniel, WELKER, and Soraya—underscoring the festival’s role in spotlighting the next generation of club and live music talent.

For 2026, the festival introduces several key upgrades designed to elevate the attendee experience. A brand-new stage will replace the former Silent Disco, with its lineup to be revealed in a future announcement. Meanwhile, both the Funk Safari Stage and Laguna Lake Stage will see major production enhancements, expanding in scale and technical capability to deliver more immersive performances.

Shabang Music & Arts Festival also shifts to a Saturday–Sunday format, running May 2 and May 3 from 2 PM to 11 PM each day. In a notable change, the festival will no longer offer on-site camping, allowing organizers to reallocate resources toward expanded programming, upgraded production, and more accessible ticket pricing.
