Seismic Dance Event is turning up the intensity for its ninth edition, revealing the Phase Two lineup for its highly anticipated return to The Concourse Project in Austin, Texas, from November 13–15. The latest announcement adds another wave of international talent while introducing a series of stage takeovers designed to push the festival deeper into the harder, faster and more groove-focused corners of electronic music.
Leading the latest additions is German techno veteran Chris Liebing, joined by Lisbon-based producer ØTTA, who will bring her distinctive fusion of trance, techno and groove to the festival through a dedicated Hotties x ØTTA stage takeover.
The Phase Two lineup continues across a broad spectrum of underground dance music. Maddix returns with his high-energy combination of techno and trance, while Marie Vaunt brings her darker, atmospheric approach, pairing ethereal vocals with acid-driven production. UK groove specialist Marco Strous, Berlin-based Frederic., Austin-based rising talent Jenna Shaw, and Brooklyn-born multidisciplinary artist DJ OZA also join the bill, adding even more variety to Seismic’s already expansive programming.
Also arriving in Phase Two are fast-rising UK producer Paige Tomlinson, techno trailblazer SPFDJ, and STÜM, whose chaotic, playful sound has become a defining part of his growing profile. Cuban-Spanish DJ Toccororo, high-energy dance duo Twofaced, and Brazilian house producer Volkoder round out the new additions, giving Seismic another distinctly international layer.
Rather than simply adding more names to the poster, Phase Two also expands the festival’s emphasis on curated club culture through a series of dedicated stage takeovers.
Alongside the Hotties x ØTTA takeover, Next Gen House will explore the intersection of tech house, deep house and raw rave energy, while Technobus brings its mobile rave concept to The Concourse Project. Each takeover is set to create its own musical identity and atmosphere, giving festivalgoers more distinct pockets of sound to explore throughout the weekend.
The new additions join an already stacked Phase One lineup featuring some of the biggest names in contemporary electronic music, including Above & Beyond, Porter Robinson, Sara Landry, SG Lewis, Brutalismus 3000, Chris Lorenzo, Max Styler, Layton Giordani, KI/KI, horsegiirL, Maddix, VTSS, and many more.
Since opening in 2021, The Concourse Project has served as the home of Seismic Dance Event, with both the venue and festival operated by Austin-based RealMusic Events. The independently operated club has established itself as one of the city’s essential electronic music destinations, combining a large indoor-outdoor footprint with high-end sound and production.
That reputation has extended well beyond Austin. The Concourse Project currently sits at No. 3 in the United States and No. 31 globally on DJ Mag‘s Top 100 Clubs list, reinforcing its growing status on the international club circuit.
Seismic itself is spread across three stages, each offering a different perspective on the festival’s musical identity. The indoor Volcano and outdoor Tsunami stages move through the broader worlds of house and techno, while Frequency focuses on harder and more experimental territory, including hard groove, UK garage, Berlin-inspired sounds and other forward-thinking strains of underground dance music.
The experience doesn’t end when the main festival programming does. Late-night afterparties inside the main room at The Concourse Project will extend the weekend into the early hours, shifting the experience from festival-scale production toward the more intimate atmosphere of a club night.
That balance between expansive festival production and underground club culture has become central to Seismic Dance Event‘s identity, helping establish the Austin festival as a destination for listeners looking beyond the conventional festival circuit.
