Veteran electronic producer Sacha Robotti has unveiled his long-awaited debut album I, Robotti, out now via Dirtybird Records. The expansive 22-track project draws from more than two decades of artistic exploration, bringing together previously released singles including ‘Words,’ ‘Whistleman,’ ‘Manifest,’ ‘All Night,’ ‘The Flood,’ and ‘Say It’.
Across its wide-ranging runtime, I, Robotti reflects the many corners of electronic music Sacha Robotti has navigated throughout his career. Moving fluidly between tech house, breakbeat, indie dance, peak-time techno, jackin house, and other club-rooted styles, the album highlights an artist who has long resisted being defined by a single genre. Instead, the record embraces unpredictability, balancing dancefloor-focused moments with more experimental compositions that expand its sonic reach.
Collaboration lies at the heart of the album. Robotti brings together a diverse lineup of vocalists and producers, including Perry Farrell, Eric D. Clark, SYREETA, Sian, JOPLYN, Blakkat, and Victoria Rawlins. Additional contributions from Gene Farris, Salva and Thee Mike B under the La Boix project, Christopher Coe, Pershard Owens, DJ Rap, and BabyGirl further enrich the record’s dynamic sonic palette.
Reflecting on the release, Sacha Robotti explains:
“Two decades of touring, three decades of living in Brussels, Edinburgh, Berlin, and California collide on I, Robotti — a debut album that was always being made, just never finished until now. Twenty-two tracks across house, techno, breakbeat, and electronica created alongside collaborators who aren’t just features but reasons why I’m still making music. I, Robotti is an honest attempt at mapping the journey so far and I’m excited to share it.”
Each track acts as a snapshot of Robotti’s musical evolution, charting the sounds, styles, and creative relationships that have shaped his career over the past twenty years. Together they form a narrative that bridges his early underground influences with the global dancefloor presence he commands today.
With I, Robotti, Sacha Robotti delivers a milestone debut that captures the full scope of his musical identity while reinforcing the collaborative spirit that has long defined both his career and the ever-evolving world of Dirtybird.
