Roskilde Festival has officially completed its 2025 lineup, adding 14 final acts to a staggering bill of 185 artists from 45 countries. The announcement not only reinforces Roskilde’s status as one of Europe’s most vital cultural gatherings but also launches the long-awaited festival schedule—giving fans the green light to start planning a week of immersive music and unforgettable moments.
The latest additions include noise-pop favorites The Raveonettes, Brazilian icon Seu Jorge, UK breakout star Rachel Chinouriri, and the soulful new duo MRCY. Avant-garde composer Astrid Sonne will also present a custom live performance created exclusively for the Roskilde stage. On the local front, excitement is high for Danish hip-hop duo Kenny—a long-awaited live collaboration between chart-toppers Gilli and Benny Jamz.
The festival kicks off on Saturday, 28 June, with early performances from emerging talent and ramps up to full scale on Wednesday, 2 July, when major headliners begin to take over. This year’s massive lineup is packed with global powerhouses including Charli XCX, Olivia Rodrigo, Stormzy, Nine Inch Nails, Tyla, Doechii, Anohni and the Johnsons, Arca, Deftones, FKA Twigs, Fontaines D.C., Jamie xx, Schoolboy Q, Lola Young, and Beth Gibbons.
Roskilde’s lineup also reflects a deep commitment to international diversity and sonic exploration. Highlights include the virtuosic Anoushka Shankar (India), the vibrant Kwashibu Area Band (Ghana), Argentina’s punk-cumbia duo Ca7riel & Paco Amoroso, throat-singing metal pioneers The Hu (Mongolia), and politically charged rapper Saint Levant (Palestine).

“Every summer, 130,000 participants and volunteers come together at Roskilde Festival to celebrate music, art, and community in a way that few other places can match,” says Thomas Sønderby Jepsen, the festival’s Head of Music. “Our 2025 lineup presents 185 acts from 45 countries – a reflection of the energy, creativity, and global spirit that make Roskilde one of the most vital festivals anywhere.”
Only 25 minutes from Copenhagen, Roskilde Festival is more than just a music event—it’s a nonprofit, volunteer-powered cultural institution that has been supporting youth-led initiatives around the world for decades. With a mission that blends music, art, and activism, it offers a festival experience rooted in purpose as much as party.
