Both
It’s rare to find multitalented banding together at a young age, but that’s exactly what happened when Ansolo, 21, and Maxum, 18, met hanging out attending Ultra Music Festival in 2015. The two began working on what is now their first , “Yin Yang“, together when Maxum flew from his base city Toronto to to kick things off. They finished the project while Ansel was filming the Divergent series movie Allegiant in Atlanta and would work via Skype between takes. “Yin Yang” was the result, and this driving, danceable track is a triumphant first for the two up-and-coming artists.

If you don’t know the name Ansolo yet, you’ve probably seen Ansel Elgort on the big screen at least once in the past year. The producer is even better known for his acting career as the lead in films such as the Divergent series and The Fault in Our Stars. Juggling two successful careers, it’s no doubt that Ansolo is just tapping into his ability to impress. Nick Henriques – better known as Maxum – is another fresh face in the dance music scene with big promise; the Canadian teen has a knack for producing music that fuses soulful, old school vibes with a new and progressive sound.

His raw talent has already granted him outstanding opportunities, like a debut appearance at legendary Guvernment Nightclub, main stage duties at Digital Dreams Festival, a remix for Galantis’ famous “Peanut Butter Jelly” and now “Yin Yang“. Already supported by top players like Steve Angello, Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero, Avicii, R3hab among others. Based on his track record thus far, Maxum has nowhere to go but up.

Stay tuned for more from these talented producers, and in the meantime find your zen on the dance floor with “Yin Yang“.
