Canadian producer and DJ Rezz unveils the inaugural compilation from her visionary label HypnoVizion, Auditory Illusion Vol. 1. Released today, the 11-track collection spotlights industrial, experimental bass, and midtempo artists from North America and Europe, delivering a dark, immersive, and boundary-pushing listening experience.

The compilation brings together ten rising talents alongside a reimagined version of Rezz’s own 2016 fan-favorite, Selector, emphasizing the label’s distinctive sonic identity. Each track offers a unique journey: CABLE returns with the electrifying Midnight Animal, VVN delivers haunting vocals on To Bleed Without Color, and dystopian duo Blood Vision inject tension on Arachnophobia. Additional highlights include industrial grit from Central New York’s Bardea on METALHEAD, textural explorations by SHSTR on Floating Sky, shadowy bass from Warsaw’s Voidnet on No Lights Ahead, and the melodic menace of French newcomer Rubi on No Exit. The compilation closes with enigmatic VAKRM (Stormbound), Denver-based DJ MLOTIK (DISRUPT), and boundary-testing Danish producer Voliik (Careless).

At the heart of the project lies Selector, reworked with fresh energy and creative precision, joining past label highlights like Contorted and Telepathy as a testament to Rezz’s decade-long influence on experimental electronic music.

Since its launch in October 2022, HypnoVizion has become a hub for innovative electronic sounds, featuring established artists such as What So Not, 1788-L, Super Future, and Lucille Croft, as well as emerging talents including EDDIE, X1-Y2, fknsyd, and FISE. Auditory Illusion Vol. 1 expands the label’s cinematic, genre-defying vision, introducing a new generation of forward-thinking producers shaping the future of electronic music.

Auditory Illusion Vol. 1 is available now on all streaming platforms via HypnoVizion.
