Rezz has officially released her long-awaited collaboration with underground bass duo Chuurch, titled “Telepathy,” out now via her imprint HypnoVizion. Years in the making and once a sought-after live ID, the track finally emerges from the shadows—refined, reimagined, and ready to send shockwaves through speakers.
Premiered during Rezz’s sold-out PORTAL debut in the Bay Area, “Telepathy” fuses the ominous with the hypnotic. The track brews an eerie tension, built on distorted vocal samples, dissonant synths, and gritty low-end—a twisted dialogue between two artists who’ve spent nearly a decade shaping their distinct sonic DNA. Originally started nine years ago, the track’s rebirth is the result of deep creative alchemy.
“Chuurch and I started this song like 9 years ago! After all these years, I kept thinking about it and how I still really loved elements of this song,” Rezz shared. “I decided to reopen the project, give it a fresh mix and switch out some of the bass sounds to make it bigger and bolder than ever. So stoked to give this one to the fans.”
Chuurch—the enigmatic Calgary-based duo of Jeff Wilson and Justin MacLean—reflected on the song’s long arc:

“Telepathy” follows the recent release of “Contorted” from Rezz’s vault and continues a run of heat leading into a stacked tour schedule, including a return to The Brooklyn Mirage later this month, the second edition of PORTAL at Tacoma Dome in September, and REZZ ROCKS VII this October at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.
Meanwhile, Chuurch marks their first release in two years and debut on HypnoVizion with this track. Known for their shadowy “lean bass” sound and remixes for the likes of Zeds Dead, Illenium, Apashe, and ATLiens, they’ve become cult favorites within the bass scene, cultivating a tight-knit following dubbed The UUnion.
