Revival House Project is set to make waves with their debut album, Dance to the Music, releasing on Friday, December 6, 2024. Produced at the legendary Abbey Road Studios, this 18-track collection takes listeners on a vibrant journey through the heart of house music. With a diverse array of artists contributing their talents, the album embodies the connection, unity, and energy that defines the global house music community.
The collective’s journey began two years ago with the single Earth Song (What About Us), a track that struck a chord with listeners worldwide. “The response to that song was incredible,” shared Revival House Project. “It inspired us to continue creating, and now, after 10 singles and collaborations with some of the biggest names in music, we’ve grown into a global family. Dance to the Music is our love letter to life, celebrating joy, healing, and the universal power of movement.”
A Collaborative Masterpiece
True to their ethos, Revival House Project worked with a stellar lineup of collaborators to craft the album. Contributors include Emeli Sandé, Jools Holland, Kathy Brown, Peyton, Imaani, Mary Pearce, Bryan Chambers, Phebe Edwards, Bryn Christopher, Anelisa Lamola, Greg Gould, Nate James, and the GeO Gospel Choir.
Reflecting on the creative process, the GeO Gospel Choir said: “Working with Revival House Project feels like being part of a family. The collaborative spirit and passion from everyone involved, both behind the scenes and in the spotlight, made this project truly special.”
The album features 10 previously released singles alongside eight new tracks, blending fresh reimaginings of classic hits with original music designed to resonate across genres and generations.
Peyton’s Personal Connection
Revival Records co-founder Peyton shared his excitement for the project, calling it a “dream come true.”
“Covering iconic songs like George Michael’s Freedom was both a challenge and an honor. Collaborating with Kathy Brown on One Love was another unforgettable moment. And revisiting A Higher Place, my debut single from over 20 years ago, feels like coming full circle,” said Peyton.
He added, “This project is about more than just music—it’s about creating something that brings people together. House music has always been about connection and celebration, and we’re so proud to share that with the world through this album.”
An Album to Feel, Share, and Dance To
Dance to the Music is more than just a collection of songs; it’s a celebration of life, joy, and the universal language of music. Whether revisiting classic tracks or discovering new favorites, listeners are invited to embrace the energy and emotion that house music uniquely delivers.
