Electronic music duo Red Axes are set to take the helm of fabric Records’ acclaimed mix series, fabric presents, with their release scheduled for March 20. Titled fabric presents Red Axes, the mix features 16 tracks that blend new material, exclusive edits, and carefully curated selections from across the electronic music spectrum. The announcement comes alongside the release of a new single, “Hot Rod To Hell And Back,” a reimagined dancefloor version of Man Parrish and Roy Garrett’s 1982 electro epic.
The mix also includes another new single, “Time To Take It,” and tracks from influential artists such as A Guy Called Gerald, James Infiltrate, and The New Black, highlighting Red Axes’ skill at blending contemporary productions with electronic classics. Known for their hypnotic, long-form storytelling, the duo’s contribution aligns with fabric presents’ long-standing ethos of curation and innovation.
For over 25 years, the fabric presents series has been a cornerstone of electronic music culture, showcasing cutting-edge mixes from some of the scene’s most influential names, including The Martinez Brothers, Andrew Weatherall, Surgeon, The Streets, and Confidence Man. With Red Axes joining the lineup, the series continues its tradition of delivering immersive, boundary-pushing dancefloor experiences.
Red Axes will perform at fabric on March 21, co-headlining with DJ Tennis, who was the artist behind the previous fabric presents mix.
“Hot Rod To Hell And Back” is available now, and fabric presents Red Axes arrives on March 20, promising a mix that reflects both the duo’s signature sonic depth and the rich heritage of the fabric presents series.
