As Rave The Planet celebrates the fifth anniversary of its iconic parade, the festivities won’t end when the floats stop rolling. On Saturday, August 15, 2026, the organization will host its first-ever official afterparty, RAVE THE PLANET Official Afterparty – IMAGINE LOVE, beginning at 11:00 PM at Columbiahalle in Berlin. Organized by the nonprofit Rave The Planet gGmbH in partnership with LOFT Concerts, the event extends the spirit of the parade into an immersive club experience for thousands of ravers.
Demand has already been strong, with the limited €20 social ticket allocation completely sold out. Regular advance tickets remain available for €49.50, and Rave The Planet encourages attendees to purchase in advance for quicker entry. Box office tickets will only be offered if capacity allows. With room for nearly 3,000 people, Columbiahalle is set to host the parade’s official nighttime continuation.
For the first time, Rave The Planet is creating a dedicated official space where the community can continue celebrating long after the parade concludes. Beyond extending the festivities, every ticket sold directly supports the future of the parade itself. While the annual demonstration for electronic music culture remains free to attend, its continued success depends on a combination of donations, merchandise, music releases, community support initiatives, and now the official afterparty.
Dr. Motte, founder of Rave The Planet and the visionary behind the original Love Parade, highlighted the importance of the event:
“The afterparty is a direct extension of the parade – just under different conditions. At Columbiahalle, we can work with light, sound, and stage design in a completely different way than we can on the street. Every ticket purchase helps make it possible for the parade to happen in this form.”
The lineup reflects the organization’s commitment to honoring techno’s roots while embracing its future. Performances will come from DJ Rush, Dr. Motte, Nakadia, Teenage Mutants, and Tommahawk, who also co-produced this year’s parade anthem, “IMAGINE LOVE,” alongside Dr. Motte. The anthem is scheduled for release on July 10, 2026. Opening the night will be Vienna-based DJ Kay Barton, setting the tone for a celebration that spans multiple generations of techno culture.
The artist selection embodies Rave The Planet’s vision of unity through music, bringing together performers from different countries, scenes, and eras while reinforcing techno’s enduring sense of community.
Choosing Columbiahalle as the venue also carries historical significance. Easily accessible and deeply connected to Berlin’s concert and nightlife scene, the venue hosted several legendary events during the original Love Parade years, including Paul van Dyk’s celebrated “The Love From Above.” By returning to Columbiahalle, Rave The Planet continues the tradition of linking the parade with the city’s vibrant club culture.
Reflecting on the long-awaited announcement, Dr. Motte added:
“Over the past few years, many people from the community have asked us whether there would be an official afterparty. Now we’re making that wish a reality. We want to create a place where the spirit of the parade keeps flowing—with a massive sound concept, a line-up from the roots of techno to the present day, and a true one-family experience on the dancefloor. This is going to be a full-on rave experience, through and through.”
With a carefully curated lineup, immersive production, and a mission that extends beyond entertainment, the RAVE THE PLANET Official Afterparty – IMAGINE LOVE promises to be more than just a late-night event. It marks the next evolution of the movement, giving ravers one final opportunity to celebrate the culture, community, and enduring legacy of techno while directly supporting one of the genre’s most meaningful annual gatherings.
