Following overwhelming demand for her recently announced Marcriá Tour, Puerto Rican multidisciplinary artist RaiNao is expanding the run with 14 additional North American dates this fall. The new shows arrive after sold-out performances in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Austin, further reflecting the growing momentum surrounding one of the Caribbean’s most inventive voices in contemporary music.
The expanded tour begins September 3 in New York before traveling through San Diego, Houston, Orlando, Atlanta, Montréal, Toronto, Washington, D.C., Boston, and Philadelphia. The run will conclude November 18 at Lunario in Mexico City. Tickets are currently available through RaiNao’s official tour page.
The announcement follows RaiNao’s recent Vevo live performances of “(toco madera y te beso)” and “cántaro,” offering fans a closer look at the immersive and emotionally charged live production that has become one of the defining elements of the Marcriá era. The performances highlight the depth of the project beyond its studio recordings, translating its intimate songwriting and rhythmic complexity into a physical live experience.
At the heart of the tour is Marcriá, an experimental album written, produced, and arranged entirely by RaiNao. Drawing from guaguancó, bomba, jazz, reggaetón, and avant-garde textures, the project moves through themes of love, memory, transformation, and mortality while building a sound that feels deeply connected to the artist’s Caribbean roots.
RaiNao also brings her musicianship directly into the project, performing saxophone and percussion throughout the album. She worked closely with producer and sound engineer Wiso Rivera to develop a sonic language that emphasizes texture and physicality as much as melody and rhythm, allowing the different musical traditions within Marcriá to interact rather than exist in isolation.
“I’ve been creating this album over the past two years, but it all began much earlier, with a beautiful experience in my upbringing that awakened something inexplicable inside me. I kept that experience in the most protected corners of my memory and, 13 years later, I turned it into songs.”
Released via RIMAS Entertainment, Marcriá brings together an impressive collection of collaborators while maintaining RaiNao’s distinct creative identity. The album features legendary Cuban vocalist Omara Portuondo, Puerto Rican reggae pioneers Cultura Profética, iconic salsa singer Andy Montañez, bomba collective El Laberinto del Coco, Dominican band Solo Fernández, and Frido Vargas.
The result is a project that draws from generations of Caribbean and Latin American musical history while refusing to remain confined by genre. RaiNao uses those influences as raw material for something contemporary, experimental, and intensely personal, expanding both the sonic and visual possibilities of modern Latin music.
As the Marcriá era continues to unfold, the expanded tour offers audiences across North America a chance to experience that world firsthand. After selling out venues in several major U.S. cities, RaiNao is bringing her increasingly ambitious live show to a wider audience this fall.
