Progressive metal legends Queensrÿche are set to hit the road on their Volume and Vengeance Tour with special guests Accept, bringing decades of anthemic power and precise musicianship to The Van Buren in Phoenix on December 16.
Fronted by powerhouse vocalist Todd La Torre, Queensrÿche celebrate over 40 years of musical innovation, from the groundbreaking concept album Operation: Mindcrime and multi-platinum Empire, to their modern resurgence with Digital Noise Alliance. Renowned for sophisticated compositions and cinematic live performances, the band continues to define emotionally charged, intelligent heavy metal.
Since bursting onto the scene in 1982 with their self-titled EP, Queensrÿche quickly earned international acclaim, performing to sold-out audiences worldwide. Their first full-length album, The Warning (1984), and the pioneering Rage for Order (1986) cemented their reputation as one of the 1980s’ most creative and respected metal acts. Operation: Mindcrime (1988) became one of the best-selling concept albums of all time, followed by the critically acclaimed Empire (1991), which earned multiple Grammy nominations and an MTV Viewers’ Choice Award for the chart-topping hit Silent Lucidity. Over the decades, the band has sold over 30 million albums globally while continuing to innovate and push the boundaries of metal.
