As March approaches, I mentally prepare myself for the madness that will ensue during Miami Music Week. This will be my first week-long visit during the week of Ultra, and I am overwhelmed by the number of events I am able to choose from each day of the week. When I saw the lineup for Get Lost, I knew where I had to be.
This lineup is incredible from start to finish. I’m already having heart palpitations over how I am going to make this work, along with Ultra. What I am most excited for on this lineup is the desert hearts addition with Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, and Marbs. Anyone coming from desert hearts will definitely catch my attention, and this trio always brings that funky house to the dance floor. Another thing that caught my eye on the lineup is Diplo, because I have only seen him perform in more well-known parties. I am interested to see what Diplo is like in an underground style party.
I am very excited to see my favorite house duo Gorgon City. Anytime I see them at a party their set spreads groovy house vibes throughout the dance floor. There is always an artist you never get tired of seeing on a lineup, and for me, that is Marc Kinchen. I am sure that I am not the only one who jumps up at the sound of “17”. Since I have not yet attended a session of Get Lost Miami, I don’t know what to expect, but I have a feeling I will hear some dark beats from Claude Vonstroke. What I am most impressed by is the variety of artists on this lineup, which will defenitaley have everyone getting lost in the music.
To get you ready to be lost with me in Miami, I created a playlist for the 24 hour Journey that is Get Lost Miami, including music by Riva Starr, Gorgon City, Dennis Ferrer, MK, Guti, and much more. I can’t wait to dance with you all on this exciting adventure!
