Porter Robinson, the Grammy-nominated artist, has released his highly anticipated third studio album, SMILE!, via MOM+POP. SMILE! is Porter’s most ambitious and vulnerable album to date, laden with social commentary on the paradox of modern artistry, internet culture, and celebrity. The album untangles Porter’s complicated relationship with fame in the digital age and the uneasy balance between authenticity and performance—from Porter’s juxtaposed position on trendsetting with “Kitsune Maison Freestyle” to his views on fandom in “Cheerleader.”
Across the record, Porter offers a unique blend of honest and sarcastic lyricism, exaggerating the depths of his poignant opinions with cheeky phrases like “Bitch I’m Taylor Swift” on “Knock Yourself Out XD,” alongside more earnest moments on songs like “Russian Roulette” and “Perfect Pinterest Garden.” SMILE! touches on themes of self-worth and acceptance, social stigmas and expectations, and the ups and downs of stardom from his teenage years through adulthood.
SMILE! is a 10-track display of the maximalist hyperpop, alternative, pop punk, and indie styles that define Robinson’s new era. The album premiered at a sold-out intimate listening party at Echoplex in Los Angeles, where he played the album in full to fans for the first time.

SMILE! is available in a number of physical formats, including a Deluxe Box Set packaged in a custom reusable carrying case which includes a double LP in opaque pink vinyl, an exclusive 7″ opaque pink vinyl of “Cheerleader,” an exclusive lyric & photo booklet, and an exclusive album art print—the first 500 of which will be signed by Porter, and the first 2,000 of which will be hand-numbered. Porter Robinson will bring the SMILE! World Tour to venues around the world this Fall with his highly anticipated 70+ date global outing. Robinson will debut a completely new production, including a live band. The multi-talented artist announced this week the addition of three new dates in Texas and Washington, and is also moving venues to the legendary Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado. The SMILE!World Tour will kick off on August 29 in Boston and hit notable stops along the way, including Forest Hills in New York on August 31 and Hollywood Bowl on October 11, before heading onto an Asian run spanning 9 cities beginning November 2024. Porter concludes the tour by traversing across 8 countries in Europe throughout February and March 2025, including a stop at London’s prestigious Brixton Academy.
