PLS&TY joins forces once again with rising British dance artist WHAT EVA for “Demons”, a striking fusion of 90s-inspired piano house energy and anthemic pop emotion, out October 31 via Dim Mak.
After their successful collaboration on the Billboard-charting hit “Turning Tides,” the duo reunites for another heartfelt record. “‘Demons’ is an emotional ballad to a beat,” shares WHAT EVA. “It’s about being vulnerable and not being ashamed of your dark — letting somebody be your light in the dark when you’re going through hard times.”
Balancing euphoria with introspection, “Demons” encapsulates PLS&TY’s signature approach—blending uplifting melodies with profound lyricism. “‘Demons’ is about facing the darker parts of ourselves and finding release through music and movement,” he explains. “It’s nostalgic but forward-thinking—something that feels timeless on the dancefloor.”
The single follows PLS&TY’s Into The Light EP and recent release “Carry The Light,” continuing his streak of emotive, melody-driven dance anthems under Dim Mak.
For WHAT EVA, “Demons” marks another milestone in a breakout year. After debuting with “Don’t Let Go” under Nicky Romero’s alias Monocule, she’s quickly become one of dance music’s most promising new voices. Her songwriting credits include hits for Armin van Buuren, Felix Jaehn, Audien, VINAI, and LIZOT, while her own singles—like “Movie Star” with Caro van Ee and “Right Here (WDJF 2025 Anthem)” with DubVision—have earned major placements on BBC Radio 1, Dance Brandneu, and Main Stage. She’s also gained additional BBC support for “Disappear” with Mozey and “Drift Away” with Grafix, featured on Massive Drum & Bass.
With its blend of emotional resonance and festival-ready production, “Demons” stands as a testament to both artists’ ability to fuse vulnerability with power—creating a track that uplifts even as it heals.
