This summer, Bulgaria steps onto the global festival stage with the debut of PhillGood, a brand-new three-day music festival landing in Plovdiv from July 17–19, 2026. Headlined by The Cure, Gorillaz, and Moby, the event arrives at a pivotal cultural moment as Bulgaria joins the Eurozone, rolls out a digital nomad visa, and continues its rapid rise as one of Europe’s fastest-growing creative destinations.
Set beside the city’s scenic Rowing Canal and surrounded by Plovdiv’s iconic seven hills, PhillGood transforms one of Europe’s oldest continuously inhabited cities into the Balkans’ newest large-scale music hub. With a backdrop of Roman ruins, Ottoman architecture, and a thriving contemporary arts scene, the festival blends world-class music with a landscape shaped by centuries of cultural exchange.
Opening night sees The Cure make their long-awaited debut in Bulgaria, joined by Wolf Alice, Irish dream-rock outfit Just Mustard, and French electronic producer Perturbator. On July 18, Gorillaz bring their boundary-blurring fusion of music, visuals, and storytelling, with support from Belfast hip-hop trio Kneecap and electro-punk duo Sleaford Mods. The festival closes on July 19 with a headline set from Moby, whose work as both an artist and producer has left a lasting mark on electronic music history.
Beyond the main stage, two additional stages will spotlight a wide spectrum of sounds and emerging talent, underscoring PhillGood’s focus on discovery as much as star power.
The full lineup also features Suede, Einstürzende Neubauten, Apashe & The Brass Orchestra, Thievery Corporation, Hayes & Y, Kadebostany, and ALI, among others, making the inaugural edition a broad and ambitious snapshot of global alternative and electronic music.
With its striking setting, genre-spanning curation, and landmark headliners, PhillGood 2026 positions Plovdiv as a new focal point on the international festival map. Three-day, single-day, VIP and camping tickets are on sale now at https://phillgood.ink.
