To mark its 30th anniversary, Paul van Dyk is unveiling a special double-vinyl release on October 25, featuring remixes from top-tier producers across multiple electronic genres, including his renowned ‘E-Werk Club Mix.’ The exclusive double-vinyl is now available for pre-order.
Selected by Mixmag as number eight in its “50 Greatest Dance Tracks Of All Time” list, ‘For An Angel’ has maintained its status as one of the most cherished tracks in electronic music. Originally released on Paul van Dyk‘s debut album ‘45 RPM’ in 1994, the track achieved legendary status with its 1998 E-Werk Remix, a tribute to the famed Berlin nightclub where van Dyk was a resident DJ. With its ethereal melody and driving beat, the track has topped charts, including achieving Gold status on the UK Dance Chart.
The 30th anniversary double-vinyl release includes remixes by some of the biggest names in the industry. Öwnboss, a platinum-selling Brazilian house artist, Julian Jeweil, a French techno producer with releases on Drumcode, and LOUT, the German production duo, all contribute their unique spin. In addition, London-based artists Kolonie, Activa, and US-based trance duo Filo & Peri bring their own interpretations, while Finnish progressive producer Miika Kuisma wraps up the remix package.
