Oxis has announced her new album Oxis 9, arriving July 17 via Boom Records. The project marks the ninth installment in her ongoing self-titled album series and includes previously released singles Grey Mullet and Scup, alongside the forthcoming track Knifefish, which drops this Friday.

Alongside the album announcement, Oxis is also launching WASHOUT, a new series of immersive events and experiences designed to further expand the world surrounding the Oxis project. The inaugural edition of WASHOUT debuts this week in New York City, where the artist will perform songs from Oxis 9 during an intimate omakase dinner experience before delivering her debut DJ set at The Lot Radio on Friday afternoon.

The announcement follows an already prolific year for Oxis. Earlier in 2026, she released Oxis 8 through Boom Records, featuring standout tracks including “Fingerling,” “Guili,” “Piranha,” and Fry. The release earned praise from outlets such as Stereogum, FLOOD Magazine, and Pigeons & Planes, the latter of which named her one of their Artists to Watch in 2026.

With Oxis 9, the artist continues her exploration of emotionally heightened, coming-of-age themes through a constantly evolving sonic palette. Across the ongoing Oxis series, she has steadily refined her identity as a producer, songwriter, and vocalist while pushing further into experimental electronic territory with each release.

Earlier this year, Oxis also appeared at Apple Music Studios in Los Angeles, performing Long Sardine and Dogfish. In 2025, she further showcased her production process during an intimate live session with The FADER in New York, reimagining tracks like Fry and Piranha in stripped-back form.

On the live front, Oxis is set to perform at Sounds That Move this weekend alongside mark william lewis, Villager, and overkast.. She is also currently supporting Bob Moses and Cannons across North America, with performances including Red Rocks Amphitheatre and upcoming stops at The Greek Theatre and Hollywood Bowl still ahead.

With both Oxis 9 and WASHOUT on the horizon, Oxis continues to build one of electronic music’s most immersive and fast-evolving creative worlds.
