CloZee and Opiuo will be starting Memorial Day weekend off early co-headlining Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado. The duo, known as Clopiuo by their adoring fans, are hitting the beautiful venue on May 28th. To add even more heat to the lineup, LSDREAM, Of The Trees, and K+Lab will be opening for them.
Oscar Davey-Wraight, known as Opiou, hails from New Zealand and has been producing music for over a decade. From underground roots to a mainstage festival headliner, Opiou has become a big name in Electronic Dance Music. He is a returning player to Red Rocks and calls it “The best venue on the planet” via Twitter. His last time there was a co-headlining spot where he debuted his epic 20-piece Syzygy orchestra. Founder of Fresh Music Freaks, Alex Terranova, caught up with Opiuo last year to talk shop. Check out what Oscar had to say!
CloZee started her musical career in her home of Toulouse France, where she goes by Chloe Herry. From there, she’s headlined festivals all over the world. She incorporates heavy bass lines and music from different cultures to create her captivating World Bass sound. Hear her talk about that unique sound in an interview done by Fresh Music Freaks own, Tigerlily. CloZee will be returning to Red Rocks after opening for Shpongle last year. This will be her first time co-headlining Red Rocks.
The opening acts of this show are not ones to be missed. LSDREAM, formerly known as Brillz, has been gaining momentum in the electronic scene for the last 2 years with his Psychedelic Bass music. This will be his first time taking the Red Rocks stage with his current project. Of the Trees and K+Lab are also first-timers to the amphitheater.
If you can’t catch CloZee and Opiuo together at Red Rocks, they will be joining each other on multiple stages in Australia in February. Catch CloZee on her spring Superbloom tour and festivals across the world in the coming months. Tickets here.
