NYC Says Hello To HOLO Presented By Eric Prydz

One week ago, Eric Prydz took New City on the ride of their lifetime. For three days in a row, he brought his exclusive show — HOLO to the city that doesn’t sleep. And let me tell you, I hope you didn’t sleep on the opportunity to witness this incredible event.

As usual, Cristoph played an opening set that set the dance floor on fire — playing his own hit singles and , as well as plenty of other jaw-dropping tracks. After a few short moments, the intro track to HOLO dropped and the massive LED wall had the entire crowd’s attention.

The same introduction that wowed the fans in the UK was doing just the same in NYC. I was floored by how these holograms really came to life. This production paired with the best that can offer left my memory imprinted with one of the most magical nights of my life.

The visuals were something out of this world, but one thing I must say is that Eric Prydz is the master of what he does. He curated this set to be exactly what his fans wanted with a mixture of Cirez D, Pryda and tracks. There were so many IDs that he dropped as well as the fan favorites (and some of my own personal favorites). It was amazing to finally hear him drop ‘The Accuser‘, ‘Rebel XX‘ and ‘Trubble‘ again live.

One of the most memorable moments for me had to have been when Prydz played ‘Lillo‘, a track dedicated to one of his fans that had passed away at such a young age. That moment brought tears to my eyes and I think a few other fans in the crowd could say the same. And just when we thought the set was over, he pressed play again and closed it out with ‘Opus‘. The crowd went absolutely insane! I’m elated that I was able to experience this show and if he ever brings it back — you can bet your behind that I’ll be there again.
