NotLö and Torcha Team Up for Dark New Single ‘Darkness’ on Rezz’s HypnoVizion Label

by Press Release

NotLö and Torcha have joined forces to release their new single, ‘Darkness’, out now via HypnoVizion, the label imprint of Rezz. Making their debut on the label, the two bass music heavyweights deliver an ominous, spine-chilling track that exemplifies their unique blend of sound design.

‘Darkness’ immediately grips listeners with its edgy, minimalistic production, driven by growling basslines and eerie vocals courtesy of NotLö herself. The track’s haunting atmosphere builds throughout, keeping audiences engaged from start to finish with a devious energy that fits perfectly within HypnoVizion’s dark and experimental catalog.

Speaking about the collaboration, NotLö shared her excitement: “This song is definitely a perfect display of our sounds meshing and has become one of my favorite collabs! I’ve been a huge Torcha fan for a while now, so it was amazing to finally work with him.”

Torcha echoed her sentiments, adding: “This song is the sleep paralysis monster, it lurks. Wrote this with NotLo last year and we’ve been playing it in our sets ever since!”

Hailing from Denver by way of South Carolina, NotLö is one of the most exciting rising stars in the bass music scene. Her sound emphasizes low-end bass with distorted grooves, creating dark, ethereal sonic journeys that captivate audiences. She’s previously released on labels such as WAKAAN, Odyzey Music, and Gravitas Recordings, and has collaborated with notable artists like Wreckno, MYTHM, and VEIL. With ‘Darkness,’ NotLö joins a growing list of female bass artists on HypnoVizion, alongside TINYKVT, fknsyd, Lucille Croft, and KAVARI.

Torcha, born and raised in Toronto, has quickly built a name for himself with his cavernous soundscapes and sub-driven, minimalistic 140 dubstep. Launched in 2022, his project has garnered support from big names like Zeds Dead, PEEKABOO, and Skream. ‘Darkness’ lands just ahead of Torcha’s upcoming performances at Infrasound Equinox, Wakaan Music Festival, and Submersion Festival.

The pairing of NotLö and Torcha on ‘Darkness’ follows in the footsteps of recent HypnoVizion collaborations, such as KTRL & Malixe and G-Space & vide. Fans can stream ‘Darkness’, available now on all major platforms.
