Husband-and-wife duo Noizu and Annaca are set to release their latest collaboration, “Dancing In The Dark,” on January 24 via Insomniac Records.
A hauntingly beautiful house track, “Dancing In The Dark” captures the ache of heartbreak with its evocative blend of twangy guitar licks, Annaca’s emotive vocals, and an atmospheric production. Layers of undulating basslines, shuffling drums, and pitch-sliding synths inspired by ’90s dream trance elevate the track into an immersive sonic journey.
“This song is inspired by the desert,” says Noizu. “Both of us are drawn to it as a place to escape the noise of LA. We wanted to recreate the feeling we get there: the vibrant stars at night, the cacti, the country bars, and the vast beauty of it all. The song came together so naturally that we finished it in a day!”
Noizu, a platinum-certified English-born producer based in Los Angeles, has carved his name in the dance music world with a decade of iconic house anthems. His music continues to dominate playlists and airwaves worldwide. His wife, Annaca, originally from Brighton and now also based in LA, is a rising star in the pop and dance music scenes, recognized for her captivating vocal performances.
Their artistic synergy is undeniable, with Annaca’s voice featured on multiple Noizu tracks, including their nostalgic hit “Summer 91 (Looking Back),” which has garnered over 105 million streams and enjoyed extensive radio play on BBC Radio 1, Capital Dance, Kiss FM UK, and Sirius XM.
