Golden Globe and Grammy-nominated artist Nick Jonas has officially announced his new solo album, Sunday Best, set for release on February 6 via Republic Records. Marking his first solo project in nearly five years, the album captures Jonas at his most introspective, candid, and creatively renewed.
Reflecting on the project, Nick Jonas shares:
“I’m so excited to share these new stories, candid thoughts, quiet walks home in the city, and snapshots of my life over these past few years. And while this album was made over the course of the last two years, it was truly 33 years in the making.”
The album was first revealed at an intimate Sunday Best Brunch in Las Vegas, where Jonas performed several tracks live for the first time for 170 fans. The event included a conversation with Daniel Wall of Behind The Wall Podcast, as well as appearances from collaborators including JP Saxe, Josette Maskin of MUNA, Blush, and Ryan Daly, who shared insight into the creative process behind the album.
On Sunday Best, Jonas explores deeply personal moments from his life over the past year, reflecting on both celebrations and challenges, as well as the perspective gained as a husband and father. Through intimate storytelling, the album offers listeners a rare, unguarded look into his world.
Sonically, the project draws from Jonas’ musical roots, including his early experiences in church choirs, blending rich, soulful arrangements with layered instrumentation and vivid lyricism. The record balances warmth and depth, highlighting the emotional resonance that defines his most personal work to date.
With Sunday Best, Nick Jonas invites fans into a bold, heartfelt chapter—one defined by honesty, growth, and artistic rediscovery.
