Never Fear, BOO! Is Here

by The Freaks - Staff

BOO! It’s back! Arizona music lovers had almost lost hope for the 2018 installment of this Halloween event. But the team at Relentless Beats came through in the clutch and we are glad they did. The last few years of BOO! have brought some great artists such as Excision, Snails, G Jones, and Bonnie x Clyde. Even Monxx has showed up before! This year is boasting quite the freaky lineup so we are here to scare you with the details! The 2018 lineup includes Kayzo, Blunts & Blondes, Habstrakt, Arius, Boogie T, LICK, and a couple of dudes that are making especially huge waves this year, TYNAN and 1788-L.

Kayzo has been crushing it over the last few years, creating his own signature sound and people have been getting hooked. From numerous EP drops and even creating his own label, Doghouse Records, Kayzo has been one busy dude. “Overload” is his most recent EP and it is an insane mix of rock and EDM. Twenty eighteen has really been the year of Kayzo, so make sure you catch him this time around.

Since this is a Halloween celebration, of course Relentless Beats found someone perfect for the occasion: Arizona local LICK, who will be bringing the dark, heavy hitting sounds. His career has been taking off lately, and we are huge fans. Deadbeats welcomed him aboard recently and we could not imagine a better fit. LICK always throws down, but nothing can compare to the crazy homecoming we are about to witness! Make sure you warm up with his “Blood Moon” EP.
Two of our favorite artists that are currently on the come-up are none other than TYNAN and 1788-L. TYNAN is not here to mess around. He keeps you guessing with those delightful delayed double drops, random video game theme song sounds, and neck breaking dark trap. Arizona needs to show him how we throw down because we know he will be bringing his all. You have probably heard his song with Kompany, “Extraterrestrial,” in a set if you have been at a bass festival this season (especially if you saw DJ Diesel at Lost Lands). New to the scene, 1788-L has already been shaking things up and catching attention. Check out his Virtual Self remix of “Particle Arts” and “H E X,” his collaboration with Rezz.
