Australian dance music duo NERVO have taken their official remix of rapper, producer, and storyteller Jairic’s “Don’t Let Me Put A Track On You” to one of electronic music’s biggest stages, delivering the track during their Tomorrowland Belgium 2026 Mainstage set. Played in front of an estimated 40,000 festivalgoers and streamed to a global audience, the performance marked a major moment for the remix, which also received support from Tomorrowland One World Radio.
The appearance placed NERVO on a Mainstage lineup alongside artists including Martin Garrix, Sebastian Ingrosso, The Chainsmokers, Bassjackers, MATTN, and Marlon Hoffstadt, further highlighting the duo’s enduring position among electronic music’s most recognizable headline acts.
Ahead of their return to the festival, NERVO told DJ Mag, “Every Tomorrowland is a big deal for us!” Their 2026 performance proved exactly why, with the duo using the Mainstage to showcase a remix that bridges Jairic’s hip-hop-driven songwriting with their own festival-ready electronic production.
The remix transforms “Don’t Let Me Put A Track On You” into a high-energy techno workout. Jairic’s commanding vocals sit above driving percussion, pulsating basslines, atmospheric synths, and spacious pads, creating a production that gradually builds and shifts without losing its central vocal focus.
Mixmag praised the remix for combining “driving percussion, pulsating basslines and atmospheric synths,” while YourEDM highlighted its rolling percussion, expansive synth work, and faster tempo. CLASH Magazine described the track as a meeting point between NERVO’s full-force production and Jairic’s lyricism, while EARMILK characterized the collaboration as “a high-energy fusion of techno and hip-hop.”
Rather than simply reproducing the original, NERVO reframe it for the dance floor, raising the tempo and introducing the kind of kinetic production designed to thrive in a festival setting.
“Really caught a vibe with this original and wanted to raise the tempo to suit what we are playing in our sets,” NERVO explain. “It has been working great and we really hope you all love it as much as we do!”
The remix builds upon “Don’t Let Me Put A Track On You,” originally released on Jairic’s 2025 EP n=40. The original showcases his genre-blurring approach to rap, beginning with a gritty, atmospheric introduction before shifting into a vocal-led section and eventually building toward a striking hip-hop-driven finale.
The collaboration also brings together two artists with distinctly different creative backgrounds. NERVO, the Australian-born twin sisters Liv Nervo and Mim Nervo, have spent more than a decade moving between songwriting, production, and headline performances. Their career began gaining international momentum after they co-wrote David Guetta and Kelly Rowland’s “When Love Takes Over,” a Grammy-winning hit that was later named Billboard’s No. 1 dance-pop collaboration of all time.

Since then, NERVO have worked with artists including Kylie Minogue, Ke$ha, Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, and Avicii. Their live résumé includes appearances at Tomorrowland, Ultra Music Festival, EDC, Lollapalooza, Creamfields, and Ushuaïa Ibiza, while the duo have remained fixtures on DJ Mag’s Top 100 DJs list.
Their debut album, Collateral, reached No. 1 on the iTunes Dance charts, while their catalog has amassed more than 238 million Spotify streams. The duo also maintains a substantial global audience, with more than 1.2 million monthly Spotify listeners.
For Jairic, the collaboration represents another step in an increasingly international career. Born and raised in Detroit, Michigan, and now based in Cannes, France, the renegade rapper has developed a sound shaped by personal storytelling and an eclectic collection of influences, ranging from Nas and Wu-Tang Clan to Detroit’s underground scene, classic funk, 1960s rock, and cinematic scores.
His live résumé includes exclusive performances at Château Les Alouettes in Cannes and Villa Balbiano on Lake Como, as well as a featured appearance at the Paris premiere of the short film Azur. His genre-fluid approach places him in a space where hip-hop intersects with rock, electronic music, and cinematic production, drawing comparisons to crossover-minded artists such as Eminem, Macklemore, and Machine Gun Kelly.
With its combination of hard-hitting techno production and sharp hip-hop vocals, the NERVO remix of “Don’t Let Me Put A Track On You” has already demonstrated its ability to move between worlds. From the studio to Tomorrowland Belgium’s Mainstage and One World Radio, the collaboration is giving Jairic’s music a larger dance-floor platform while allowing NERVO to continue pushing their sound into new territory.
