Myd is back with a fresh sonic evolution, unveiling two brand-new singles, “Song For You” and “The Wizard”, out now via Ed Banger Records / Because Music. These tracks mark an exciting new direction for the French artist, shaped by his years of DJing at clubs and festivals worldwide.
“Song For You” is a sun-soaked house anthem, driven by a funky, filtered bassline and Myd’s signature sampling finesse, topped with his dreamy vocals. In contrast, “The Wizard” takes a darker turn, showcasing Myd’s most striking sonic transformation to date. A hypnotic vocal loop builds into a relentless synth bass groove, layered with rhythmic stabs and intricate percussive loops, delivering a trippy and immersive club journey.
Reflecting on this new chapter, Myd shares:

After years of performing live and DJing in clubs, that pulse has naturally found its way into my studio, shaping music that feels vibrant and alive.”
Pushing creative boundaries, Myd recently locked himself in his recording studio for a week—completely cut off from the outside world, with no phone or social media. Streaming live on Twitch, he invited fans to witness his creative process in real time, with up to 10,000 viewers tuning in at once. The stream also featured guest appearances from Pedro Winter (Busy P), LB aka LABAT, Jersey, Warmer People, and more.
A celebrated artist, DJ, and producer, Myd first gained prominence after signing to Ed Banger Records in 2017. His 2021 debut album, “Born A Loser”, seamlessly blended indie and electronic elements, featuring standout tracks like “The Sun”, “Moving Men” with Mac DeMarco, and collaborations with Bakar, Juan Wauters, and JAWNY. His recent works include collaborations with Palms Trax and remixes for Shakedown ft. Bootsy Collins & Polo & Pan.
Performing worldwide, Myd has graced the stages of Primavera, All Points East, Rock En Seine, and iconic venues such as Printworks London, Hi Ibiza, and Pikes Ibiza. Most notably, he was the sole DJ at the 2024 Paralympic Games Opening Ceremony in Paris, a historic event broadcast to over 22 million viewers, where he performed in a custom Louis Gabriel Nouchi-designed French flag dress.
