A cornerstone of modern dubstep gets a fierce new form as MUST DIE! unleashes the CHAOS Remix Package. Originally released in 2019, “CHAOS” solidified MUST DIE!’s reputation as one of bass music’s most forward-thinking producers. With over 9.2 million streams on Spotify and over 1.2 million plays on SoundCloud, the track became a scene-defining anthem—and continues to hold its ground as one of the genre’s most iconic releases.
More than seven years later, “CHAOS” remains a staple in live sets from heavyweights like Subtronics, Hedex, ATLiens, and Excision, and was one of the top 10 most-played tracks at EDC Vegas 2024. Now, with the help of some of bass music’s most innovative voices, the legacy track gets a stunning rework through nine remixes that stretch genre boundaries while honoring the original’s uncompromising intensity.
Early teasers from Flux Pavilion, INFEKT, and Kill Safari, set the tone with a cinematic overhaul, a stuttering mechanical rework, and raw percussive energy, respectively. With the full EP release, fans are treated to six new remixes that push even further into uncharted sonic territory.
Riot Ten builds orchestral tension before erupting into a riddim-fueled drop, then pivots into a pounding, techno-infused second half that keeps adrenaline levels maxed out. Automhate injects an uptempo techno twist midway, while Slowboy takes a darker route with a rhythmically intricate interpretation. Kumarion channels the original’s iconic buildup into a trap-heavy drop with immersive low-end punch. Ace Aura brings shimmering melodies layered over a bone-rattling bassline, and Fitch closes the project with a breakneck drum and bass finale that dials the energy to the extreme.
Together, the CHAOS Remixes Package is both a celebration of the original’s enduring legacy and a showcase of bass music’s ever-evolving creative frontier. Each remix offers a distinct vision—yet all retain the fierce intensity that made “CHAOS” a benchmark moment in bass music history.
