Italian producer, DJ, and multi-instrumentalist Raffaele Scoccia, better known as Moon Rocket, brings intimacy and dancefloor momentum together on his single “Just Us Alone,” released December 12, 2024 through Moon Rocket Music.
Built around a steady Afro House groove, the track finds Moon Rocket balancing rhythmic drive with the melodic sensibility that has become central to his production style. “Just Us Alone is a track about connection and intimacy. I wanted to create something that felt emotional and hypnotic while still having the energy to work on the dance floor. It came together quite naturally, and I think it captures a side of my sound that I really enjoy exploring,” says Moon Rocket.
That combination of musicality and club functionality is rooted in Scoccia’s early relationship with music. His journey began at 15 when his parents gave him a piano, eventually leading him into classical music, harmony, and composition. His training as a pianist and Hammond organ player has since become a defining component of his approach, allowing him to weave live-instrument sensibilities and sophisticated melodies into contemporary electronic production.

“Just Us Alone” also carries the production pedigree of Sam Wills, who mastered the release at Wired Masters in London. Wills has worked with a wide range of internationally recognized artists, including Swedish House Mafia, Honey Dijon, James Hype, Yotto, Todd Edwards, Elderbrook, Jessie Ware, Nic Fanciulli, and Harry Romero.
For Moon Rocket, the single arrives on the back of a career that has increasingly connected his melodic approach with the global electronic music community. His music has appeared on influential labels including Defected, Nervous, Sony Italy, BBE, Hed Kandi, and Soulfuric, while his productions have received support from major artists and tastemakers such as Black Coffee and Seth Troxler.
