LA Based artist MONOGEM delivers a diverse Remix EP of her 2017 release “100%” – featuring remixes from up and coming producers Zach Nicita (Verite), Paperwhite, Jamie Prado & ELIS (Elliot Jacobson & Chris Leon). “100% EP The Remixes” are out today via AWAL.
Paperwhite delivers a remix of Monogem’s self-love anthem “Gone” – the first single from the upcoming “100% Remix EP”. Paperwhite, brother, and sister Katie and Ben Marshall, are a Dream-Pop duo from Brooklyn, NY. They’ve had enormous love from the blogosphere while generating millions of streams on Spotify. Monogem’s highly anticipated sophomore EP, “100%,” was released May 2017 to a sold-out Los Angeles show at The Bootleg Theater. Monogem blends her own new wave of sultry with ethereal alt-pop. With the remix EP on the way along with a music video directed by Courteney Cox, there is no question that this will be a big year for Monogem.
Paperwhite takes Monogem’s “Gone” from a more subdued synth track to a lovely pop, feel good, dance hit. Using Monogem’s vocal in a way we haven’t heard before. With a titillating build up to a bouncy drop, the entire track fills out ears with smiles and sunshine. A great song for a day you need a kick-butt girl anthem to give you a little confidence boost. Paperwhite pushes this anthem into something you can blast in your car after a hard day to relieve that workday stress. Make sure to follow Monogem and Paperwhite for more music updates.
