Following last summer’s unforgettable Chris Lake: Black Book on the Pier shows, this historic industrial site has cemented its status as the ultimate summer destination for dance music in New York City—and this year, it’s Mochakk’s turn to light up the skyline.
A breakout star with undeniable charisma and sonic versatility, Mochakk has become one of the most electrifying names in global dance music. Raised in Brazil within skate and hip-hop culture, he got his start as a beatmaker before diving headfirst into house music. With roots as a student of the genre, he’s since emerged as both a masterful producer and dynamic performer, turning heads with standout tracks like his smash hit ‘Jealous’ via Circoloco Records, plus iconic remixes of Groove Armada’s ‘Superstylin’’ and Diplo’s ‘Express Yourself.’
Beyond the decks, Mochakk has cultivated a movement through his Mochakk Calling and Tricks And Tracks event series—immersive, culture-driven experiences that blend his passion for skateboarding, fashion, and music. Every Mochakk Calling show around the globe has sold out, and now, it’s New York’s turn.
Joining the lineup for Mochakk Calling: NYC are genre-bending selectors DJ Boring b2b DJ Seinfeld in a rare back-to-back that fuses lo-fi house, acid, and rave energy, plus rising Berlin-based house talent Lovefoxy, with more guests to be announced. Pre-sale ticket signups are open now at Laylo, with access beginning April 9 at 10 AM EST. General on-sale launches April 10 at 10 AM EST, with options including VIP tickets offering express entry, backstage access, premium restrooms, and an exclusive bar experience. This is a 21+ event.
