Ministry of Sound is stepping into its 35th anniversary with a bold first wave of artists and events, signaling a landmark year for one of electronic music’s most influential institutions. The London club is preparing for its most dramatic transformation to date, with major plans to reimagine the venue from January 2026 and usher in a new era for the global club culture staple.

The initial artist announcement sets the tone for an expansive year ahead. Longstanding icons who helped shape London nightlife lead the charge — including Ron Trent, Joe Claussell, Tony Humphries, Pete Tong, Kölsch, Darius Syrossian, and Eats Everything. Their inclusion nods to the club’s legacy as a force in modern dance music and a blueprint for nightlife around the world.

True to its roots, Ministry of Sound is also giving London’s rising talent a spotlight. Lauren Lo Sung continues her steady ascent with genre-blending house sets, while Fiorella pushes minimal and deep house into new shapes. Riva Starr and Matrefakt bring vibrant tech-house textures, and Konstantin Sibold’s melodic techno continues its cross-Europe momentum.

Arriving in January, the club introduces Blink, taking over Friday nights with a focus on melodic and afro-house. Launched in partnership with Louder, the series opens on January 30 with a headline set from afro-house collective &Friends, anchoring a 2026 programme built on cross-genre exploration and a renewed commitment to platforming emerging voices.

“Everyone at Ministry of Sound is incredibly proud of what we’ve built over the last 35 years,” says Club Director Matt Long. “But we’re also looking ahead — next year marks the beginning of that next chapter.”

January’s programming kicks off with Carnival of Sound on Friday the 9th, followed by the 23-year celebration of Select Radio on Saturday the 10th. Mas Que Nada brings house and disco energy on Saturday the 17th, Sound of Garage revisits UKG staples on Friday the 23rd, and the month closes with &Friends on Saturday the 30th and a rare back-to-back from Pete Tong and Kölsch on Saturday the 31st, joined by Lauren Lo Sung and Jansons.

February widens the scope with a special daytime session from Hard Times on Saturday the 7th featuring Ron Trent, Joe Claussell, and Tony Humphries. Later in the month, URGE, Siesta, La Discothèque (celebrating its 10th year), Smoove, and Room Service bring a range of underground flavors, while Konstantin Sibold returns to the booth on Friday the 20th.

March closes out the season with the vibrant Latin flair of BRESH on Saturday the 7th, a big-room headline night with KSHMR on Friday the 13th, and the colorful, global rhythms of the Zamna Soundsystem on Friday the 20th. The month wraps with Mak10 + Friends on Saturday the 28th, celebrating grime, UKG, and UK funky — a nod to the club’s deep-rooted connection to London’s underground.

The 2026 anniversary programme celebrates the past while looking unmistakably forward, merging heritage and innovation, legends and new voices, and London’s cultural DNA with worldwide reach.
