Australian electronic act Miami Horror announces the launch of their new record label Temporary Pleasures, debuting alongside the introduction of their club-focused alter-ego TOGETHERNESS. The inaugural release, “Hard 2 Forget U”, celebrates classic house and disco sensibilities, marking a return to the sampling-driven sound that first inspired Benjamin Plant’s musical journey.

“Hard 2 Forget U” captures the euphoric, loop-driven aesthetic that defines TOGETHERNESS, built around carefully curated samples and infectious grooves. The track pays homage to the golden era of sample-based house while maintaining a contemporary edge, delivering unfiltered, dancefloor-ready energy.

Reflecting on the launch, Plant shares: “I had always gravitated to the feeling and ethos of house – finding a simple euphoric loop lifted from another decade and just repeating it in its simplest form. In a world that feels more disconnected than ever, TOGETHERNESS is a reminder of the unity found in music and on the dance floor.”

Though now debuting publicly, TOGETHERNESS traces back to Plant’s early discovery of disco and house, inspired by acts like Daft Punk. After years focused on Miami Horror’s acclaimed releases—including Illumination and We Always Had Tomorrow—Plant revisited his passion for sampling, leveraging modern tools to uncover rare, deeper cuts.

Temporary Pleasures is envisioned as a home for joy and euphoria, supporting modern disco, French house, funk, and R&B while fostering a sense of community through the dancefloor. Beyond music releases, the label will curate events under Pleasure Center, host mixtapes featuring like-minded artists, and celebrate the nostalgic spirit of Australian summers.

Following a landmark year with Miami Horror’s return from a nine-year album hiatus with We Always Had Tomorrow, and performances at festivals including Coachella, Governors Ball, Electric Forest, Splendour in the Grass, and Just Like Heaven, Plant continues to shape the indie-electronic and dance music landscape.

“Hard 2 Forget U” stands as a declaration of artistic freedom—a return to the pure, unfiltered joy of house and disco. As TOGETHERNESS builds its creative catalog and Temporary Pleasures grows its roster, Plant proves that music remains a universal connector, bridging communities worldwide.
