Brazilian house heavyweights Maz and Viot team up with vocalist Anduze for a sun-kissed, emotionally rich single titled “Ocean,” out now on Dawn Patrol. Anchored by a clean, rolling bassline and spacious, minimal production, the track embodies the label’s signature surf-meets-rave energy — breezy, free-flowing, and deeply connected to both nature and the dancefloor.

With the poignant refrain, “Take me to the ocean, wash me in your water, drown me in emotion,” Anduze’s vocal dives into themes of release, healing, and human connection. It’s a meditation on surrender — to love, to rhythm, to the sea — and perfectly channels the spirit behind Dawn Patrol, the label and event series founded by Maz and Antdot, which merges coastal energy with community-driven electronic music experiences.

The release follows a standout Dawn Patrol event in São Paulo, and as summer heats up, Maz is in the midst of a busy European tour. He brought Dawn Patrol to Paris last week and is headed to Lisbon on September 7. His schedule also includes major appearances on the White Isle, joining BLOND:ISH, Camelphat, and Michael Bibi’s Solid Grooves at legendary venues like Pacha and DC-10.

A breakout force in global dance music, Maz has skyrocketed from Brazil’s underground to top international stages including Coachella, EDC, and Electric Forest. Known for genre-defining tracks like “Amana,” “Banho de Folhas,” and “Jolie Fille,” he’s drawn support from icons such as Black Coffee, Keinemusik, Diplo, and more — all while amassing over 580k followers across Instagram and TikTok.

Joining him on “Ocean” is Viot, the alter ego of Lauro Viotti, a Brazilian producer whose genre-blending approach fuses Bossa Nova, Brazilian Hip Hop, Pop, House, and Techno into a fresh and globally resonant sound. With tracks like “Confession,” “Pop It Low,” and “So Far So Good” earning praise from the likes of Jamie Jones, Michael Bibi, and The Martinez Brothers, he’s made his mark on stages like Tomorrowland Brazil, Hï Ibiza, and Só Track Boa, while launching his own label, Casa Bonita Records.

“Ocean” is a vibrant and introspective journey — a seamless blend of house, soul, and Brazilian flair that leaves listeners submerged in sound and feeling.
