LP Giobbi, the Austin-based producer, multi-instrumentalist, and FEMME HOUSE founder, is set to celebrate Women’s History Month with a four-part release series on her Yes Yes Yes imprint throughout March 2025. The initiative highlights female producers from around the world, continuing her mission to champion women, gender-expansive, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ artists in electronic music.
“For Women’s History Month, I’m honored to shine a light on the amazing female artists and producers on Yes Yes Yes. From techno to dreamy pop and everything in between, we have women from all over the world bringing their perspectives and sounds to life. The beauty of this label is that it’s a space for everyone to express themselves, and our collection of upcoming releases this month is a sonic journey that celebrates the music, voices, and stories of women.” – LP Giobbi, founder of FEMME HOUSE and Yes Yes Yes.
The series features Philou, Alex Golden, DJ Minx, and LP Giobbi herself, each delivering a unique solo release every week in March. The collection is visually tied together with a shared artwork motif, symbolizing unity and harmony.
Yes Yes Yes Women’s History Month Release Schedule
- March 7 – Philou – “Acid Martini”
Returning to Yes Yes Yes after debuting in October 2024 with “Disco Nap,” Philou explores a deeper club sound with “Acid Martini”—a track bursting with squelchy acid synths and modern narrative sampling. - March 14 – Alex Golden – “Tisno Twist”
Making her label debut, Alex Golden brings “Tisno Twist,” a track paying homage to the legendary Croatian festival scene, blending deep electronic textures with an infectious groove. - March 21 – LP Giobbi – “Galt”
Marking her first solo Yes Yes Yes release since launching the label with “Time Expands” in September 2023, LP Giobbi presents “Galt”—a tribute to Galt MacDermot, the Canadian-American composer, featuring bright, jazzy piano work front and center. - March 28 – DJ Minx – “Forget”
Closing out the series is Detroit house and techno icon DJ Minx, founder of Women on Wax. Her track “Forget” is a fierce techno roller filled with relentless energy, culminating in an explosive, high-intensity climax—a fitting finale to this empowering collection.
With LP Giobbi at the helm, this Women’s History Month series reinforces Yes Yes Yes’ commitment to uplifting female voices in electronic music. Keep an eye out for these releases throughout March 2025 as the label continues its impactful movement in dance music.
