LP Giobbi unveils We Say Yes, a bold and eclectic compilation bringing together established artists and rising stars on her esoteric electronic imprint Yes Yes Yes. The collection highlights fresh selections from the pioneering dance music force herself, alongside a lineup of visionary talents shaping the future of house and rave culture.
Speaking about the project, LP Giobbi shares, “Our debut label compilation We Say Yes celebrates the original spirit of raving. ‘We’ highlights unity and inclusivity on the dance floor while ‘Yes’ emphasises the power of positivity and optimism, connecting to the Yes Yes Yes ethos. We want our label output to contribute towards the community aspect that made the early days of dance music so special. The compilation focuses on showcasing timeless sounds in house and rave music’s history.”
The release opens with label boss LP Giobbi’s collaboration with producer and guitarist Alex Kennon on Natura Umana. Rising selector EMJIE follows with Hurt Me No More, a groove-driven cut radiating her uplifting touch, while frequent collaborators Inda Jani & Ghezz bring rolling basslines and expansive synths to Richman.
Dynamic duo Fundido reimagine LP Giobbi’s harmonic house gem Take My Hand with a masterful remix, before Washington-based DJ and producer Baby Weight drops her chunky, high-energy signature on Feral.
The compilation also features Disfreq & mOat’s transformative rework of Kate Bush’s timeless Running Up That Hill, leading into Berlin producer and vocalist JOPLYN, who closes out the collection with the powerful floor-shaker Fired Up.
With an explorative yet cohesive mix of artistry, We Say Yes captures the eccentric vision of Yes Yes Yes, offering a distinct sonic identity that channels rave history while pushing into fresh territory.
