LP Giobbi is a woman of many talents. Not only is she the FEMMEHOUSE founder, but she is a producer, DJ, pianist, and fashionista. On the heels of her new single “Dejala Pasar”, she is burning up the dance floor with her original sound.
A trained jazz pianist, LP Giobbi uses her combined knowledge of music theory to weave in hypnotic creativity into each of her tracks. Her new single, “Dejala Pasar”is a journey through uplifting vocal samples, melodic piano, and tantalizing synths married together with punchy percussion and a pulsing bass line. This sound creates the perfect intersection of the darkness of tech house and the brightness of world music. There’s even a bit of a 90’s disco flavor thrown in.
She has collaborated with Diplo, Jax Jones and has toured the world with Sofi Tukker. However, she is not only focused on musical ventures but has her hands in an abundance of creative endeavors. When she’s not in the studio collaborating or producing, she books music for the summer series at Hollywood’s W hotel with a focus on women artists. She recently launched FEMMEHOUSE, which was created out of the need for more presentation for women identified acts. Its mission is to create opportunities and to make electronic music more inclusive and provide meaningful opportunities for all and the LGBTQ+ community.
LP Giobbi is a rising star in the electronic music community and a woman on fire. And that’s why she is the ultimate Women Crush Wednesday!
