Long Feng Returns to Burning Man 2025 With World-Class Lineup and Groundbreaking Art Car

Long Feng has officially unveiled the full lineup for its highly-anticipated return to Burning Man 2025, bringing a bold fusion of myth and machine to the desert. More than an art car, Long Feng is a living paradox—an adaptive, contortionist-inspired stage that bends and unfolds with unmatched elegance while hosting some of the biggest names in electronic music.

Born from a love story on the playa, Long Feng was created by two veteran burners whose sacred union sparked a project rooted in beauty, unity, and community. Guided by the ethos “Let Beauty Lead”, the art car bridges Eastern and Western cultures, serving as a platform for collective growth and shared creative expression. Built by performers for performers, it is not only the largest art car on the playa but also the first designed with the fluid adaptability of a contortionist’s body—shifting to meet the energy of each performance.

As creative director Mark Alan Diaz explains, “We built Long Feng with the precision of a tailor—every cut intentional, and every detail curated.”

The car itself is steeped in ancient symbolism: the dragon and phoenix represent beauty, truth, and sacred union; the egg (pearl) symbolizes rebirth; and its construction through the Five Elements—Fire, Earth, Metal, Water, and Wood—honors the foundations of creation. This cultural grounding meets the future head-on with the integration of AI, robotics, and interactive technology, positioning Long Feng as a mechanical being designed to evolve with its own personality and intelligence.

From sunrise odysseys to peak-night journeys, the 2025 lineup showcases a diverse roster of global talent. Highlights include Damian Lazarus, Vintage Culture, the only playa-exclusive Adam Ten b2b Mita Gami (Extended Set), and Latin house heavyweight Gordo. Also joining are Francis Mercier b2b Mahmut Orhan, Kaz James with his sole art car set of the week, Lee Foss, Brazilian rising star MAZ, melodic techno favorite Colyn, Norwegian duo Kream, Kimonos, and Arodes b2b AMÉMÉ.

Every sonic detail has been meticulously crafted with the help of Sound Investment Audio (SIA), featuring Funktion-One, NST Audio, and Full Fat Audio systems. As Todd Konecny, Partner at SIA, puts it: “It is rare that, as designers, we are given the opportunity to design the ultimate system for a once-in-a-generation art and music fusion creation.”

One of the most anticipated moments will be the 1st Annual Dragon Awakening Tie-Up on Thursday night—a monumental convergence of dragon art cars including Abraxas, Elektra, Heavy Meta, Torch the Dragon, Xuza, and more. Together, they will ignite the playa sky in the largest dragon gathering ever staged. Long Feng will also join forces with Bipolar Express, Titanics End at PlayAlchemist, and Maxa Camp, amplifying its collaborative spirit throughout the week.

With expanded performances, next-level production, and immersive storytelling, Long Feng’s 2025 return will redefine what an art car can be. A beacon for the next generation of playa culture, it is where community, creativity, and innovation converge—creating unforgettable moments that ripple far beyond the dust.
