Multi-genre producer Lizdek has officially released his debut studio album DUALITY via MONTA Records, marking a major new chapter in his evolution as an artist. Known for his roots across trap, bass, and dubstep, Lizdek expands his sonic identity here into one of contrast, tension, and controlled chaos.
Following his 2022 mixtape Gemini, DUALITY builds on the concept of duality as both a creative framework and emotional state. The album explores the friction between polished, commercial instincts and raw, unfiltered expression, turning that internal push-and-pull into a defining artistic statement. Across its runtime, the record moves fluidly between shoegaze textures, rage-rap energy, and hard-hitting electronic production, constantly balancing structure against spontaneity.
The result is a collection of tracks that feel intentionally unstable in the best way—sharp-edged bass music that still carries melodic weight and emotional depth. Featured collaborators help expand that vision across multiple scenes and sounds. The album includes appearances from Ailow, Matt OX, and DJ Smokey on “HI-FASHION,” Malixe and Oddly Godly on “INSANE,” SURF on “Go Back,” and Yandrel on “MAJKO,” each contributing to the project’s wide-ranging sonic palette.
In a statement about the release, Lizdek described DUALITY as a reflection of “the love triangle between everything I love and have loved in music,” emphasizing the tension between expectation and instinct. That philosophy runs through every track, shaping an album that embraces contradiction rather than resolving it.
Before DUALITY, Lizdek steadily built momentum through releases that showcased both melodic precision and heavier, club-driven intensity. His recent collaboration with Habstrakt on Monstercat and continued support for his rework of Skrillex’s “Push” have further cemented his position within the modern bass and electronic landscape. His music has also earned recognition from major names including RL Grime, Skrillex, Martin Garrix, DJ Snake, Four Tet, and others.
Alongside the album release, Lizdek continues expanding his live presence with upcoming U.S. performances, including a standout back-to-back set with Ailow at a Brownies & Lemonade show in Seattle supporting RL Grime, Gryffin, and Wax Motif, with additional dates across San Francisco, Denver, and more expected soon.
