Kelowna-based trap innovator Lizdek has teamed up with Argentinian beat maestro Dabow for their explosive new single, “NO SPACE,” arriving August 15 on Insomniac’s BREAK ROOM imprint. The collaboration fuses Lizdek’s gritty, experimental dubstep edge with Dabow’s razor-sharp percussion and immersive textures, resulting in a visceral trap anthem that pushes genre boundaries into chaotic new territory.
First premiered during Lizdek’s standout set aboard BREAK ROOM’s art car at EDC Las Vegas, “NO SPACE” makes an instant impact. Haunting vocal layers, glitchy tonal bursts, and distorted basslines collide with crisp percussion in a festival-ready track engineered to devastate sound systems. It’s a seamless blend of Lizdek’s atmospheric sound design and Dabow’s relentless innovation.
Speaking on the collaboration, Lizdek shared:
“’NO SPACE’ was one of those very naturally born songs for me, and I’ve been a huge fan of Dabow’s music for a long time. Songs like ‘Olé’ and ‘Eyes’ with Breaux were some of my favorites in trap music during that era, so it felt really cool to have our brains come together for this. Making the artwork for this one was also a very enjoyable experience, and I’m grateful to BREAK ROOM for giving us that creative freedom.”
Dabow added:
“This song is meant to melt your speakers. The drop is hard, but then it gets twisted over and over again. Trap and dubstep are blended in a unique way. Drink that and get energized! ‘NO SPACE’ leaves no room for anything but ears getting liquified; it’s a fully packed bass banger.”
Lizdek’s rise through the electronic underground has been fueled by co-signs from heavyweights including Skrillex, RL Grime, Alison Wonderland, Four Tet, and NGHTMRE. He’s collaborated with forward-thinking producers like Hex Cougar, Godlands, and NAZAAR, while his bold flips of tracks by Central Cee and Black Eyed Peas have caught the attention of Spotify and Apple Music, landing placements on editorial playlists like Trap Mojito and Trap & Bass.
Meanwhile, Dabow continues his global ascent following his first U.S. tour, which included standout performances at DEF and Maybe Forever. His forward-thinking productions have earned spins from Diplo, Zeds Dead, Dillon Francis, TroyBoi, and Mr. Carmack, alongside festival slots at HARD Summer, Coachella, Ultra, and Lollapalooza Argentina. Beyond the festival circuit, his percussion-driven sound has been featured in campaigns for Puma, Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty show, and the Saints Row video game soundtrack.
Together, Lizdek and Dabow prove their undeniable chemistry on “NO SPACE,” a speaker-melting collaboration that showcases the future of trap with precision and ferocity. Out August 15 via BREAK ROOM Records, the single cements both producers as leaders of bass music’s next wave.
