SHOSH

The night started with SHOSH bringing some heavy dubstep for the girlies! She delivered a dynamic set, making stellar use of the production’s visuals, using all the massive LED screens to enhance her performance. During her set, she debuted a brand-new track made specifically for the evening, which was followed by an energetic mashup of “Pump It Up” by Endor and “Gonna Make You Sweat” by C+C Music Factory. She made sure to throw in one just for the dubstep girls in the crowd.

YDG

YDG delivered a high-energy performance from the start, opening with “Mount Everest” by Labrinth, which set an epic, triumphant tone. He incorporated nostalgic elements like “Pretty Rave Girl” and a unique, attention-grabbing mix of “Who Let the Dogs Out”. A crowd favorite was the remix of John Summit’s track “Go Back,” which featured a deep bassline and was complemented by lots of rainbow lasers. The set transitioned into a slightly slower, more emotional section before closing with the cult classic “Collapse” by Zeds Dead.

Levity Lasership

Levity’s performance was a high-energy, visually stunning spectacle that showcased the trio’s playful dynamic and sophisticated design work. The show kicked off with an engaging intro featuring the trio playing around with the laser ship buttons and showcasing cheeky dialogue. The first track released was their freshest, “Pop Off!”, their first official collab with GRiZ. The musical journey featured their signature transition to their flip of Britney Spears’ “Toxic,” accompanied by SO MANY LASERS! They included a variety of samples and remixes they’re known for, including Doechii’s “Denial is a River,” Mariah Carey’s “Obsessed,” and closed out with the evergreen Lynyrd Skynyrd track “Free Bird.”

The visual production was a cohesive, immersive experience that utilized every element of the stage. The centerpiece was a UFO made of LED screens, with lasers creating a cone around the boys. They also used the overhead structure to project words onto. The use of space, screens, and a variety of lights and lasers was astounding and a beautiful showcase of insane design. They created an unreal environment in the amphitheater. The show also featured lighthearted, memorable moments, including a Rickroll, an unexpected dropout, and chatting with aliens in wubs and lasers. A touching segment included a Mac Miller moment featuring visuals of him, followed by a collection of pics of the Levity trio. The trio’s deep gratitude for their lives and work is embodied in the quote they shared: “The only thing more powerful than hate is love.”

The overall atmosphere was one of infectious fun and genuine passion. From the wubby disco segments and the inclusion of classics like “Sweet Caroline” to the raw energy of their dirty drops, the performance felt both massive and intimate. The trio’s chemistry is palpable; you can tell the three of them just love doing what they do. The seamless integration of their audio and visual design solidifies their performance as an unforgettable night of live music and community connection.
