Les Plages Électroniques, the Riviera’s flagship beach festival, is gearing up for a milestone 20th anniversary next August with a first wave of artists that sets the tone for its biggest celebration yet. Returning to the sunlit coastline of Cannes, the festival continues its signature blend of world-class electronic music and unmistakable Mediterranean energy — a combination that’s made it one of France’s most defining summer events.
On 7 August 2026, the beach belongs to Martin Garrix, the global EDM force behind stadium-scale anthems and countless chart-toppers. Joining him is Nico Moreno, whose hard-edged industrial techno and relentless underground momentum have made him a leader in Europe’s heaviest club circuits. Rounding out the day is Mosimann, the Swiss multi-hyphenate known for hybrid live sets that blur house, pop, and electronic performance into something entirely his own.
The celebration continues on 8 August 2026 with multi-platinum hitmaker Marshmello, whose crossover presence has reshaped the global dance landscape. He’s joined by Amelie Lens, a dominant figure in modern techno whose hypnotic, high-intensity sets command crowds across the world. French rap star PLK brings his melodic, razor-sharp delivery to the Croisette, while Vladimir Cauchemar arrives with his unmistakable flute-driven trap sound and striking visual world.
The finale lands on 9 August 2026, as DJ Snake returns home to the Riviera for a full-scale Pardon My French takeover. The global superstar brings his PMF collective to close out the weekend with a surge of bass, trap, and high-energy dancefire — a fitting peak for the festival’s 20-year celebration.
What began in 2006 as an intimate local gathering has since evolved into a destination event that draws more than 60,000 attendees each year. Today, Les Plages Électroniques spreads across six distinct stages set on the beach, rooftops, the Palais des Festivals, and even the open sea, presenting over 90 artists each summer along the shimmering edge of the Côte d’Azur.

Against the backdrop of the Bay of Cannes and its golden coastline, the festival has become synonymous with the South of France’s summer identity — from sunset sets on the sand to late-night afterparties inside the Palais. For its 20th anniversary, the team is preparing elevated production, new stage concepts, special collaborations, and commemorative moments highlighting two decades of community, creativity, and electronic culture.
Next August, the Croisette once again turns into one of Europe’s largest open-air dancefloors as Les Plages Électroniques enters its most anticipated year yet.
