Leotrix Unleashes Genre-Bending Bass Anthem “Preach” Ahead of Debut Album on Gud Vibrations

Australian-born, Denver-based producer Leotrix has released “Preach,” the third and final lead single from his forthcoming debut album on Gud Vibrations, the label founded by NGHTMRE and SLANDER. Out March 6, the track arrives as a bold statement of intent, capturing the full scope of Leotrix’s genre-fluid sound while offering a final preview of the project ahead.

At its core, “Preach” is a high-impact dubstep release, but the track stretches far beyond traditional bass music boundaries. Built on a tightly engineered, club-ready framework, it blends breakbeat rhythms, hardstyle energy, and future riddim textures into a dynamic and unpredictable sonic experience.

The track opens with shimmering melodic chimes before punchy breakbeat drums push the momentum forward. Distorted hard dance elements collide with compressed dubstep drops, while flashes of colorbass-infused house add contrast and movement throughout the arrangement. Drawing inspiration from old-school gabber, the production channels high-BPM rave energy without sacrificing the precision and low-end weight that have become signatures of Leotrix’s sound design.

“I wanted to make a tune that felt reminiscent of OG UK happy hardcore, as well as gabber hardstyle, whilst keeping my compressed dubstep EDM style,” Leotrix explains. “I love hardstyle melodies and hardstyle kicks; the sound design in hard dance music really reflects some of the stuff I really enjoy about dubstep sound design.”

“Preach” follows the release of his recent single “Fighter Pilot,” which earned coverage from outlets including EDM.com, Fresh Music Freaks, Visual Atelier 8, Find Your Sounds, and Perspective. The release also arrives during a strong run of live performances across North America, with recent appearances at venues including Concord Music Hall, 1015 Folsom, Break Point, Lake Union Park, The Vermont Hollywood, and OK Farmers Market.

At just 26, Leotrix has already built a reputation as one of bass music’s most technically adept and versatile producers. After signing an early deal with Ministry of Sound Australia, he went on to secure multiple Beatport No. 1 chart positions while releasing music across respected imprints including Cyclops Recordings, Monstercat, Disciple Records, Bassrush Records, and UKF.

His catalog has now surpassed 30 million streams and received radio support from triple j and George FM. Since signing with Never Say Die in 2021, his global presence has continued to grow, fueled by support from artists including Excision, Zomboy, and Virtual Riot. That momentum has led to performances at major festivals such as Rampage and Lost Lands, along with tours across Japan, Hong Kong, Europe, and a 35-stop U.S. headline run.

With “Preach,” Leotrix delivers a final glimpse into his debut album while reaffirming his reputation for pushing boundaries across dubstep, trap, drum and bass, bass house, and leftfield bass. As anticipation builds around the full-length project on Gud Vibrations, the single highlights his commitment to expanding bass music’s possibilities rather than confining himself to a single lane.

Leotrix’s new single “Preach” is now available across all streaming platforms via Gud Vibrations.
