Laidback Luke shared insight into the inspiration behind the track, saying, “I had made a bass-driven house track, rooted in my Chicago house influences, and included a simple section with just kick and bass—a tried-and-true way to move a dance floor.” He emphasized his admiration for Clark’s iconic vocal style, which adds an entrancing layer to the track.
