Koven, the BBC Radio 1-supported and Grammy-acclaimed drum & bass duo, are preparing to release their latest single, “sHow me heAVEn,” on November 3 through UKF. Bringing together their signature high-energy production and the emotional depth of cinematic orchestration, the track introduces another dimension to the duo’s evolving sound.
Recorded at Metropolis Studios in London, “sHow me heAVEn” pairs the unmistakable vocals of Katie Boyle with a custom live-string arrangement by Simon Dobson. The orchestral elements add a sweeping quality to the production, balancing the intensity of drum & bass with soulful rhythms and a more cinematic atmosphere. The result maintains the dancefloor energy that has become central to Koven’s identity while creating a sound that reaches beyond the club.
The upcoming release follows four previously released singles: “bloOdliNEs,” “hEarTbeAt,” “wHERE the rhythm goes,” and “juST to breAThE.” Among those tracks, “wHERE the rhythm goes” received a notable placement in an Amazon Prime project connected to the UEFA Champions League, further extending the duo’s reach beyond electronic music audiences.
Koven have also continued to make their presence felt within the drum & bass community. Last month, the duo headlined UKF’s long-awaited return to fabric in London, celebrating the platform’s 15-year history with a major event at one of the UK’s most recognized electronic music venues.
Throughout their career, Koven have developed an international following, accumulating approximately 450 million streams across their catalog. Their previous album campaign alone generated more than 25 million streams, alongside significant radio support. The duo have earned over 40 plays on BBC Radio 1, delivered a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, and received a BBC Radio 1 Hottest Record selection.
