Klaudie Unleashes Raw Warehouse Energy on New DISTRIKT Sound EP

Dutch producer Klaudie continues her artistic evolution with a two-track EP on DISTRIKT Sound, released October 10. The A-side, “Make This Place”, is a collaboration with Miami producer m.O.N.R.O.E., while the B-side, “Don’t Stop”, showcases Klaudie’s solo vision. Departing from the cinematic restraint of her debut single “Serenade for Strings”, the EP embraces the raw, unfiltered spirit of early-2000s warehouse culture, with heavy basslines, gritty textures, and stripped-down arrangements built for dark rooms and moving bodies.

Klaudie describes the project as “a lost memory from a warehouse party—heavy basslines, dim lights, no phones—just sweat, sound, and a sense of release.” “Make This Place” pairs hypnotic vocal fragments with a driving groove, blending Klaudie’s minimalist sensibilities with m.O.N.R.O.E.’s deep rhythmic touch. “Don’t Stop” hits harder, delivering a percussive, no-frills burner designed for peak late-night energy.

Following her debut on Rony Seikaly’s Stride Records, this release reveals a darker, more visceral dimension of Klaudie’s sound. Her momentum extends to the stage, with performances at Amsterdam Dance Event 2025, including PIV By Train on October 22 alongside Kyle Walker and Ranger Trucco, and a Factory 93 takeover on October 25, sharing the lineup with Fabe, Vitess (Live), and m.O.N.R.O.E.

With classical roots, a strong visual sensibility, and a keen ear for texture, Klaudie continues to carve out a distinct voice in the modern minimal scene—able to move seamlessly from cinematic introspection to late-night club intensity.

Make This Place” / “Don’t Stop” is out now on DISTRIKT Sound.
