On June 27, rising electronic artist Klaudie makes a powerful entrance with her debut single “Serenade for Strings,” released on Rony Seikaly’s acclaimed Stride Records. A hypnotic and emotionally resonant blend of classical composition and modern minimal house, the track marks the arrival of a bold new voice in electronic music.
Built around a haunting motif sampled from an obscure Czech symphony, “Serenade for Strings” is a meditative, loop-driven piece that balances restraint and richness. Minimal percussion and understated textures breathe around the orchestral sample, revealing a nuanced tension between melancholy and grace.
“I came across this forgotten symphonic recording by a Czech composer and instantly felt something powerful,” says Klaudie. “There was sadness in it, but also grace. I knew I wanted to bring it into my world—into a minimal structure where every sound breathes.”
Born in the Czech Republic, Klaudie began playing violin at age six and performed with orchestras throughout her youth. At 15, she moved to the U.S. to pursue a successful modeling career—an experience that sharpened her visual storytelling and artistic instincts. But in 2018, she quietly returned to her first love: music. From the violin to vinyl, she began DJing, producing, and refining a sound rooted in both technical precision and emotional depth.
“I’ve lived a few lives already,” she reflects. “But music was always home. This release is the first time I feel ready to share that truth, publicly and fully.”
“Serenade for Strings” reflects that duality—simultaneously a statement of arrival and a reintroduction to the artist behind the sound. Her style draws from minimal house and microhouse influences, enriched by a deep classical sensibility. The result is cinematic yet understated; immersive yet intimate.
This summer, Klaudie is poised to take her vision global with performances at iconic venues including Cova Santa (Ibiza) and Kiesgrube (Germany). With a clear creative identity and a devotion to her craft, she’s carving out a space that feels both timeless and entirely her own.
“My dream is to become a minimal queen,” she says with a smile. “But more than that, I want to be understood as a real artist. Someone who listens closely, who feels deeply, and who’s constantly learning how to translate all of that into sound.”
