French melodic mastermind Keanler returns with his most personal and expansive project yet: the five-track Timeless Reflections EP, out May 23rd via Lilly Era. Known for lush soundscapes and cinematic precision, the Lyon-based producer steps into fresh territory, blending emotional vulnerability with dancefloor finesse across a collection that feels both intimate and immense.
With over 600,000 monthly listeners and serene hits like “Falling” and “World On Fire” under his belt, Keanler is no stranger to crafting atmospheres that pull at the heart. But on Timeless Reflections, he sheds old habits in pursuit of creative freedom. “The past few months have been about letting go of the usual and seeing what happens,” he shares. “This EP is not just a collection of tracks—it’s a reflection of growth, collaboration, and the journey to find a more authentic version of myself through music.”
Opening with the ethereal “Soft Light”, the EP sets a powerful tone. The single, already boasting over 600K streams, blends emotional arpeggios with crashing snares and a mesmerizing vocal performance by Ren Ocean—showcasing Keanler’s talent for building tension and release within sonic dreamscapes.
Vocal collaborations serve as emotional anchors throughout the EP. “Answers”, featuring UK artist Afnan Prince, channels melodic techno into a soul-searching anthem, while “Runs Like Water” pairs Berlin-based Freddie Dickson’s aching delivery with fluid, hypnotic production that lives up to the track’s name.
The EP’s most surprising moment arrives with “Let It Burn”, where LeyeT—a rising alt-pop talent from Los Angeles—guides the track into a moody, downtempo lane reminiscent of Massive Attack. A slow-burning drum break and melancholic atmosphere highlight Keanler’s evolving sonic palette.
Closing the EP is “Wrath,” a purely instrumental piece that feels anything but subdued. Opening with calm restraint, the track quickly spirals into a storm of reverb-drenched synths and pulsing energy, delivering the EP’s peak-time punch.
In support of the EP, Keanler will debut a new live show at Tola Peckham in London on May 23rd, followed by a hometown gig in Lyon on June 14th and a support slot for Ben Böhmer at Finsbury Park in August.
With Timeless Reflections, Keanler balances the grand and the personal—inviting listeners into a world where vulnerability meets dancefloor euphoria. It’s a bold step forward for a producer continuing to define his sound on his own terms.
