Kayzo’s New Album “Overload” may just be the One of the Top Ten Albums of the Year. (Review)

has been an artist I have enjoyed listening to for the last year or more, but he completely won my heart and ears over on day two of 2017. His stage presence is one that really draws you in and catches your immediate attention. His high energy, wide tempo transitions and undivided involvement with his fans keep you raging from beginning to end.
We have now reached and Kayzo has dropped his first full-length album, Overload. This eleven song masterpiece is everything and more you would expect from this talented musician. It’s a top-notch blend of , rock, pop-punk, screamo and beautiful melodic tones. This is one I highly suggest you give a listen too if you haven’t already.
Overload opens up with the alluring voice of Devin Oliver and quite quickly slaps you in the face with a nasty drop. The First Track leaves you intrigued and fully anticipating the rest of the album.

Seven Lions and Kayzo and Gammer OH MY! The Beyond Wonderland Lineup is Stacked

The second track “Overload”, is the first of four to feature Micah Martin. The Zealots singer, who I have never heard until now is powerful and I’m glad we were introduced. This collaboration was a spectacular choice for the tone of this album. Every song he accompanies Kayzo on has my inner-scene, emo-kid screaming with nostalgic vibes.
In my opinion, Kayzo has yet to fail to bring you some “bangers” that leave you wanting to “neck break” the night away. The tracks that had me hang banging the hardest were “Feel The Power” and “Waiting”. Now, if your looking for a more wonky tone and some creeper build-ups, “In My Head” is a perfect match for you. Then again you may be into those  melodies with the “feels”, which leaves “Floating” and/or “Exhale” for your enjoyment. I would have to say that out of all the songs on this playlist, “Right On Time” is by far my favorite.
All in all, Overload leaves you feeling like you’ve been punched in the gut by a whirlwind of emotions. I couldn’t decide whether to shuffle, cry, twerk or head-bang through the whole experience. I hope you get a chance to listen to the Overload album, it really will rock your socks off. You can catch Kayzo playing these songs on the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour across the US for the next few months. Be sure to snag a ticket to this tour, you won’t be disappointed. Hope to see you all there!
