Hard dance innovator Kayzo joins forces with rising force Water Spirit for “XXX,” an uncompromising rawstyle collaboration arriving February 20 as the first release of 2026 via Welcome Records. Built for maximum physical impact, the single captures both artists at their most aggressive, fusing rawstyle intensity with industrial textures and metal-driven energy.
A relentless blend of hard dance and underground rave sensibilities, “XXX” is driven by punishing kicks, break-heavy momentum, and warped vocal flips that inject flashes of chaos and playfulness. Rave stabs and distorted melodic elements push the track forward at full throttle, while subtle dubstep influences reflect Kayzo’s genre-defying foundation. The result is a weaponized fusion of rawstyle, schranz, and gabber, engineered for warehouse floors and festival mainstages alike.
The track’s origins trace back to Kayzo’s 2023 Unleashed Bus Tour, where the initial concept began as an experimental fusion of rock, metal, and hard dance.
“I started this song way back in 2023 on my Unleashed bus tour,” Kayzo explains. “I remember sitting on the bus before a show and just wanted to experiment with rock metal elements with hard dance and techno. The version I started back then was more of a hard psy version that for a while was THE version I played out. After about a year of that, I felt like the song needed new life.”
That evolution arrived through his collaboration with Water Spirit, who helped reshape the track’s sonic identity.
“We ended up basically re-recording all the metal bits and taking the drops in a much harder, more detailed industrial meets schranz and gabber direction,” Kayzo adds. “This felt more in line with where our sound was and where it was going.”
For Water Spirit, the creative process centered on channeling early rawstyle and slam influences into something modern and explosive.
“This track was inspired by early rawstyle and slam music,” Water Spirit says. “I think we both just wanted to make the most fun song we could think of. It’s got hard kicks, a fun premise, and metal all wrapped into one package.”
The release arrives amid continued momentum for Kayzo, following the announcement of his upcoming cage shows in Los Angeles, produced in collaboration with 6AM Group and WORK. The events, which recently added a second night due to overwhelming demand, will operate under a strict no-phone policy inspired by European club culture, reinforcing his commitment to immersive, distraction-free dancefloor experiences.
